I have to admit that song warmed my anarchist heart, but they were just such repulsive posers,it was all so forced and fake, plus they could barely play their instruments.By the way I have no gripe with Abba, but you would think their music is far to pop oriented for the r+r hall of fame.I actually didn't realize I insulted the Monkees until you mentioned that you liked them, and then it kicked in that I like the Monkees too,but they were created and had their image molded much the way the Pistols did,it turned they just had better songs than the Pistols.

Well, I meant I liked the Monkees as a kid; not that I think they're the artistic heights. Though they're fun. And one of their moms invented White Out. And also, one of them produced Repo Man. I could cheat and google which one, but I'm too lazy.

Do you know there are lots of Sex Pistols, Sid Vicious, and Punk is Not Dead t-shirts hereabouts? I have a pretty good idea that 99 percent of the wearers have no idea what punk might be. Kinda like the man I saw walking around in the pink t-shirt that said, "I have PMS and I have a gun."
